About the Laboratory of Transport Engineering and Logistics

The Laboratory of Transport Engineering and Logistics is a subdivision of Faculty of Transport Engineering, founded in 2017. The established laboratory combines separate laboratories previously ran by departments of Faculty of Transport Engineering, such as internal combustion engines, automotive exploitation, exploitation materials, electrical equipment, traffic participant psychophysiology, hydraulic drivers, railway transport, logistics and other laboratories. Better and wider opportunities of scientific researches of the Faculty of Transport Engineering are ensured this way. Also there are better education opportunities for future and existing specialists in transport engineering and logistics.
It is important that future employees in the transport sector would be able to think practically and critically and they would not be afraid to look for new solutions to solve emerging problems. For this reason, the activities of the laboratory are closely linked to progress creation and application in the field of transport engineering, and the main goal of the laboratory is to contribute to the scientific activities and study process of the Faculty of Transport Engineering. The equipment of the Laboratory of Transport Engineering and Logistics is constantly maintained, improved and updated. This ensures the opportunity for all cycles’ students, teachers and researchers to develop engineering thinking, perform various laboratory works and researches.
The equipment available at the Laboratory of Transport Engineering and Logistics provides the opportunity to perform the following laboratory works and researches:
